Hey friend! I’m here because I want you to live your most joy-filled and beautiful life.

Honestly.

For me, I spent YEARS neglecting the creative and feminine sides of myself, opting instead to put my ambitious energy getting through some difficult stages of life: working several jobs while going back to school and putting my husband through medical training, followed by moving three times within a year, and having three kids within four years, and then, finally, when I looked around, out of the newborn fog, I realized I had not learned some basic skills that I had always wanted to learn.

I wanted to be fantastic at makeup, beauty, home decor, and style, but I simply had not prioritized learning things like how to do my eyebrows, or how to put together a place setting, or how to use dry shampoo (FACT. And yes, this would’ve been nice to learn BEFORE the three kids, indeed).

So I started learning. I did. And the things I’ve learned, and continue to learn, are here within these pages because I am confident they will help YOU, friend, to take a step, too. And my oh my has it been fun, and rewarding, and my life is already looking more joy-filled and beautiful.

START SOMEWHERE.

Anywhere. Let’s do it together.

And I have failed. You will fail. But you’ll keep back up and do it better the next time. Particularly with eyebrows. I mean, they can be so tricky.

Join me on my imperfect journey towards progress, not perfection.

I deeply desire to help you create spaces within the walls of your home that bring a sense of happiness and peace. Environment makes a world of difference!

I truly want to inspire you as you update that wardrobe with styles that make you feel amazing about yourself and what your body has accomplished.

I am excited to help you experiment with your beauty routine so you can be your most confident self (and let’s be honest, it’s FUN). Disclaimer: I call myself a “beauty beginner” which is so much fun, because I get to try new things as if through the eyes of a child, and I think there’s value in watching a beginner attempt new makeup looks and products.

I sincerely want to encourage you by offering solidarity and support in your motherhood, marriage, or medical spouse journey (or all of the above!) through my writing.

I want to help you discover new things that make life easier, and then tell you about them honestly through my reviews.

And lastly, I want to keep you smiling. So please accept my offer of presenting you with regular, embarrassing videos.

So stick with me, friend. I can’t. wait. to see what we accomplish together. Let’s transform our worlds into something more joy-filled and beautiful. I’ll be cheering you on all the way.

Honestly,

Ann Marie ❤️

More About Ann Marie

I’m a LOT to handle sometimes, but that’s because I am just so passionate about living and loving this life.❤️

Don’t ask me where I’m from, because this Southern girl at heart moved all over the country as an Army brat growing up. We have now happily settled in the Pacific Northwest, a beautiful backdrop for our little life.

I am a mama to three tiny, fiery little gals, ages 2, 4, & 5.

At 13, I met this heartthrob of a boy in Science class in Oregon, and married him 9 years later. He’s now a busy Orthopedic Surgeon outside of Seattle. Together, we make quite the team, with him mellowing me out a bit, and me getting a little extra excitement out of him!

I am a Speech-Language Pathologist by training. However, I took a hiatus when our second little was born, and I haven’t been back to that world, as I’ve been out focusing on these…dreams.

Dreams of being deeply encouraging and authentically inspiring to other women and mamas, on the home front, with beauty and style, in marriage (medical or otherwise), and in tapping into those hidden talents that may be collecting dust.

My passions have evolved through the years, and I’ve finally found a place, a career, that it perfect for me, and it’s right here on these pages. I truly want to help create happier lives and more comforting homes…starting with mine. And if you’re working towards that, too, you’re in the right place, friend.

XO!
