The Best Tie Dye Fashion Finds!
Confession: I’m still learning how to be a lifestyle blogger, especially regarding the “style” part of “lifestyle.”
As you know, I like to be transparent and take you guys behind the scenes, sooo…here’s a little glimpse:
When bloggers post about outfits and clothing finds, they usually like to offer their readers a way to find the items and shop for them themselves. This benefits the blogger by helping them make a teeny tiny bit of cash as no extra cost to you, and it offers the reader a service by compiling cute outfits from difference retail outlets and making them easy to shop, as well as offering value by hearing, seeing, or reading a personal review of the items.
However, if you’re the kind of blogger I am, here’s what happens: You purchase items and plan to eventually put them on the blog. Then, it takes you 3-4 months to put the post together. As you put the post together, you realize all or most items are out of season or stock and people can’t buy them even if they wanted to.
*cue facepalm
And yes, I am talking about this very post.
Now I understand how important it is to be timely when posting fashion finds! #liveandlearn
So, in the event an item I’m wearing is sold out, I’ve decided to link some items that are similar to the pictures you see.
Hopefully, you’ll still love the tie dye outfit inspiration here today. And yes, if you decide to purchase anything from an affiliate link below, I’d be so grateful, as it helps to support by blog and the quality of my future content! 😘
Look #1:
Top: J Crew Factory This is the first sweatshirt I’ve EVER purchased from J Crew Factory, and it is SUCH a great cut. The inside isn’t fuzzy, but it feels like incredibly quality material – and it’s currently on clearance! I linked some similar styles from J Crew in the slider above.
Shorts: Madewell (Nordstrom) – these high rise shorts are cute and versatile! Definitely a summer staple, and I love how they fit tightly on my legs so theres not awkward gaps when I sit!
Sandals: Report (from DSW) – they’re no longer available but I linked some similar styles I love!
Look #2
Top: Amazon This top was a FANTASTIC find! The length is great (I like shirts a little longer and tuck-a-ble! As a polyester/spandex blend, it’s SUPER soft and I think the v-neck makes it cuter than if it were a crew neck! LOVE this shirt!
Shorts: Luxe Dolphin Shorts (Jane) – these draw-string shorts are oh so cute (and not see-through as expected)! They’re VERY comfortable…but…not currently available. However, I linked some other white shorts from Amazon with good reviews that may be worth a shot! I love how white shorts look with white shoes!
Shoes: Puma (from DSW) – these are my FAVORITE shoes of the summer! They seem to go with everything, and I put my little no-show socks underneath and they are PERFECT!
Look #3
Dress: Cara Tie Dye Maxi (Dress Up) This dress is even more flattering on that I thought it would be! It does have an open back, as a halter, so a strapless bra is a MUST! It has a liner that reaches to the slit to keep it from begin see-though. I adore the fit and style of this dress and can’t wait to have events to wear it to!
Sandals: Mix No 6 (DSW) are completely out of stock. I linked some similar ones!
Earrings: Pegasus Earrings (Stella & Dot) – these are my go-to earrings when I want to be a little more dressy!
Hoodie: Demi Tie-Dye Hoodie (Dress Up) – A perfect, slightly oversized hoodie with an awesome design! This was my first purchase from Dress. Up and they nailed it! I especially love that the drawstrings are two different colors. A-dor-a-ble!
Jeans: AE Ne(x)t Level High-Waisted Jegging These majorly distressed jeans will not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I love having one seriously wild pair in my closet! The link here is for a similar color/style/fit – AE is my go-to for jeggings!
Sandals: Report (from DSW) – they’re no longer available but I linked some similar styles I love!
Look #4
Hoodie: Tie-Dye Hoodie (Abercrombie) – I am now obsessed with Abercrombie relaxed fit sweatshirts! They are so soft inside and a truly flattering fit! Abercrombie has several other fun tie dye sweatshirt options in the same fit that I will link!
Shorts: Madewell (Nordstrom) – these high rise shorts are cute and versatile! Definitely a summer staple, and I love how they fit tightly on my legs so there are no *awkward* gaps when I sit!
Sandals: Report (from DSW) – they’re no longer available but I linked some similar styles I love!
Look #5
Lastly, I just wanted to tell you about these awesome headbands I found on Amazon! They come in a pack of 6 (and were less than $15 when I bought them!), and they are perfection for adding a little tie-dye flair to any outfit! I love the little top twist and they truly stay put on my hair ALL the day long, which I’ve found to be rare! So just wanted to share! (They’d also make a great gift!)
