Here’s What We’re Up To!
As much as we love life on the farm, we don’t stay put! We decided in 2022 that we would begin the adventure of a lifetime and make it a goal to visit each of the 63 National Parks in the US! Here are some of the reasons we decided to go for it:
- It gives us an opportunity to explore and stand in awe of God’s creation.
- We need a good reason to take more vacations (it’s hard to convince Tim to take some time away from his patients!)
- It gets us moving! Our weekends away used to be spent wine-tasting – instead, crazy hiking goals feel inspiring to us in this season.
- It connects us. Traveling this way presents a unique experience that requires us to plan, prepare, execute, problem-solve, and enjoy a truly unique bonding experience. We plan to take the girls along when we can, and connect with them, too!
Come along with us as we tackle each one and share what we’ve learned: the best sites to see at each, which parks are the most kid-friendly, hikes you can’t miss, and best places to stay/eat. We hope you’ll enjoy the ride alongside us! Stay tuned, my friends!

Hi, I’m Ann Marie
My core values are to love God, love people, and love creation. “Love creation” means so many different things to me: growing food, loving on plants, learning new ways to care for this planet, and also, to appreciate this glorious world we live in. Tim and I love a good challenge, difficult hikes, and lovely views, so the National Park challenge is one of the most exciting things we’ve done together to date. We hope you’ll follow along, ask all the questions, and enjoy the ride alongside us!
