My FAVORITE Fall Fashion Finds!
I am so. ready. for fall.
(Nevermind that it’s like 90 degrees outside. I don’t wanna hear about that.)
So I did it.
I went to Target in search of some fall home and wardrobe updates.
I, all alone, mind you, which you probably know is a gift in itself, walked those blissful isles at Target (slowly) and found all. the. things.
All of ’em.
Women’s clothes, decor from Hearth & Hand (my FIRST TIME seeing it in person), and then these extras (you know what I’m talking about if you, too, stroll the Target aisles) like makeup and pillows and necklaces and socks and…fruit leathers. Anyway, I’m telling you…I found it all. ALL.
Then I walked myself to that fitting room to try on that huge pile of clothes I’d acquired, only to find it…
*gulp.*
CLOSED.
Ya’ll. The coronavirus just cost me a small fortune at Target because remember how I just said I found all the things? Well, then I BOUGHT all the things in order to try them on.
The good news is, it means I have a pretty comprehensive try on to show you today.
The bad news is that I can’t decide what needs to go back. 🤔

And also, hopefully returned items get some kind of coronavirus quarantine just to keep people safe….right? Shouldn’t stores have to do that?

Top: Women’s Plaid Poncho Sweater – Universal Thread™ Purple (Target) – $28 – This poncho is the perfect length for leggings! As a neutral-lover, I am a huge fan of the colors. The fringe is a fun detail. This is a must-keep for me!
Leggings: AE Shine Printed Highest-Waisted Legging (Aerie) – $26ish – I’ve been told these are better (and cheaper) than the favorite spanx leggings people seem to talk about! I love them so much – the high rise keeps everything tucked in, and the shimmer on the leggings adds some detail and keeps them interesting!
Booties: Mine are from Old Navy from last season. Here are a couple of similar options that I think are cute: Faux-Suede Side-Buckle Ankle Booties for Women (Old Navy – about $40) and Women’s Dylan Laser Cut Ankle Bootie – Universal Thread™ (Target – about $35)
Hat: Women’s Boater Hat – Universal Thread™ Black One Size (Target) – $10 This hat did not win the votes on Instagram (oh and BTW, if you’re not following me there, you should be! Link is HERE!) It’s super comfy though and cute with some of the looks. Maybe I just don’t quite know how to wear it properly yet. But for that price, I’m probably keeping it!

Sweater: Women’s Slouchy Crewneck Pullover Sweater – A New Day™ (Target) – $24.99 This was my FAVORITE top of them all! I am obsessed with the color-blocking and the slouchy sleeves. PLUS, the sleeves were this perfect, deliciously cozy length! As a matter of fact, the whole SWEATER is a great length – can tuck or leave untucked! Everyone needs this sweater for fall. SERIOUSLY.
Jeans: Distress Mom Jean (American Eagle) – Mine are no longer available but I’ve linked some similar options: AE Mom Jean and AE Mom Jean (both are less than $40). I love the way mom jeans fit!

Shoes: Kinsley (Naturalizer) – $39.99 – These shoes are so versatile – I’m so. so. glad I have them because they legit go with everything (when I’m wanting to wear heels, which is not often, mind you). But they’re a comfortable height and so flattering. LOVE.

Sweater: Women’s Mock Turtleneck Tunic Pullover Sweater – A New Day™ (Target) – $29.99 – I love the side slit and the mock neck on this sweater! It’s also super soft and with long cozy sleeves!

Shoes: Rubie S by Steve Madden – (Use code SPRING50 to get them closer to $60!) These shoes are ABSOLUTELY my new favorites. The studded detail on the back is so beautiful. They are perfect for all the errands. I feel like a cool mom. Finally.

Dress: Women’s Short Sleeve Wrap Dress – Universal Thread™ (Target) – $29.99.The color is beautiful but it was a little loose in the waist for me. The top was secured with a clasp which I really loved.
Shoes: I love my Worthington Women’s Cadet Mules (JC Penney) – $23.99 These mules are fabulous – they are woven and so versatile!

Top: Women’s Floral Print Keyhole Blouse – Who What Wear™ (Target) – $27.99 – fit snug at the neck, and has a cute bow detail on the left shoulder. Perfect for a front tuck!

Jacket: Women’s Long Sleeve Chore Jacket – Universal Thread™ (Target) – $40 – I’m a fan. It has a hood which is handy. I’d consider it a medium weight. The only things I don’t totally love are that it seems to lose some shape on me in the middle (there is a draw-string, though!) and I wish the sleeves were slightly longer. But it really is, overall, pretty great for fall and the transitioning weather! And I can’t resist camo. Like, ever.

I’d consider it a medium weight. I found all of these cute jewelry pieces to compliment my new styles! All are so cute and I don’t have any shopper’s remorse at this point. I’m doing more gold than I’ve ever done before, and for some reason, I am just loving it!
Bonus…pajamas!
THESE are the pajamas that I am currently obsessed with. So, so comfortable, and the pants have pockets, which is so helpful for this mama! Size down if between sizes. May shed slightly, but it’s never bothered me one bit!
Perfect for keeping you warm and cozy on these fall evenings to come! You FOR SURE would not regret this purchase! Worth every penny!!
