Not an Ad: An Honest Review of YogaClub & FabFitFun Spring 2019
We’re going to lighten things up a little bit today! Yay! I’ve got a great new mani I just put on and I am feeling GIRLY. So let’s talk about some FUN stuff.
It’s been a little bit like Christmas in my house this week, because I got 1. My very first YogaClub box, (thanks to an awesome recommendation from my friend, Sara) and 2. My FabFitFun Spring Box 2019! So. much. good. stuff.
(I paid for them all, just in case you were wondering…and I KNOW you were!).
So first, let’s talk about our new friend, here, YogaClub.
YogaClub
Here’s how it works.
It’s a box that you receive either monthly, every two months, or every three months (it’s up to you!) And also up to you is how many pieces you receive. You can do just premium leggings, or a two piece “premium outift” or a “three piece premium outfit” (that’s what I did!) All boxes are worth far more than their cost!
You take a style quiz to get started, and honestly, it kind of feels like a fun fashion video game mixed with the best part of an eye doctor visit. “Which do you like better, 1, or 2? 1, or 2?” Then a stylist uses your selections to create a box that aligns with your preferences!
The option to do a three-piece outfit is usually $79, but because of my friend’s referral code, I got it for $69! The options with less pieces are cheaper, of course! $45, $49, $79, or $89 are the price points without a discount.
I was so excited to get my box, and when it arrived, it did not disappoint.
When I looked at the pieces initially, I have to be honest: I was very concerned they would be too small. BUT, they totally fit! And I immediately took my leggings and bra for a 5 mile run with no issues whatsoever! The leggings have this beautiful detailing. They felt thick and stayed put.
The bra did not cut off my circulation despite my fears about it being too small, and the back is to. die.
The tank is rather forgiving, and I’m going to love it for my hot summer day workouts!
All in all, it was a $180 value, so the $69 price tag was lovely. It was only slightly more than I would pay for my go-to Old Navy workout situation.
If I needed to return something, my understanding is that I could do it for free using my Lotus bucks, which you get for signing up, and can reload by participating in the various social media accounts of YogaClub.
If you want to try YogaClub, you can get $10 off by clicking here: Ann Marie’s link Full disclosure: It’ll make my next purchase cheaper, and yours! So it’s a win-win, right?
Okay! Great! Let’s move on!
FabFitFun Spring 2019
Ya’ll. I THOUGHT I totally failed. I SOMEHOW missed the deadline to make my selections on this box. I was very nervous that what would arrive would be terrible. But, for the most part, I think it’s pretty great. There are a couple of duds, in my opinion, but still well worth the $49 price tag! The overall value of my box was $291.
Here’s what came in this beautiful box:
1. Manna Kadar Champagne Body Scrub – $24
This is a delightful charcoal scrub that made my skin feel so smooth. I used it in combo with the Daily Concepts Daily Detox Brush I will talk about later. I WILL be using this again.
2. Dr. Brandt skincare needles NO MORE BAGGAGE eye de-puffing gel – $42
Gosh, I still have eye-depuffing supplies from my last FabFitFun box, but I’m looking forward to using this gel! Next time they need a product for under eye circles! I’m not so much puffy, but definitely have the dark circles!
3. OUAI Leave In Conditioner – $26
Smells delicious. Hair is silky smooth and not tangled, which is great for me who is always putting mousse in my hair so I don’t have to *really* do it. #momlife
4. Giadzy Copper Plated Measuring Spoons (could’ve picked an aromatic body lotion or a mystery choice)
Rose gold is IN, people! And these spoons are BEAUTIFUL. I would’ve purchased them independently, I love them so much! Also, we’ve been rockin’ measuring spoons from our wedding (13 YEARS AGO) so it was bout time for an upgrade!!!
Now for the customizable options (that I failed to customize).
5. QUAY AUSTRALIA Vivienne Sunglasses in Black/Smoke – Retail Value $60
These glasses are super cute! I could have picked another version of these glasses (which I liked slightly better) if I hadn’t have missed the edit! Other choices were a sleeping facial or a cute little picnic set with silverware in a little orange clutch bag.
6. Show Me Your Mumu Robe – Retail Value $84
The pattern is gorgeous. So many of my current favorite colors. The only problem is that I would LOVE to be the kind of gal that wears this, but I’m afraid I’m not. (As evidenced by the fact I styled it with leggings and Sketchers here – ha). I could’ve picked a little backpack or an aromatherapy diffuser (and probably would have).
7. The2Bandits™ Athens Necklace
This one is just okay – I’m super picky with jewelry and see myself passing this one along. I could have selected Ciaté London Extraordinary Translucent Setting Powder, or S’ip by S’well (an adorable water bottle) for this selection!
8. Daily Concepts Daily Detox Brush
The brush is great for use with scrub! It’s a tough little thing, so I had to use it lightly! For this selection, annual subscribers can customize with the TULA Purifying Face Cleanser, or EleVen by Venus Jump Rope.
And there we have it! Hooray for fun new things to try out! If you’re looking for a referral code and wanna help a girl out, here are mine:
